If you have questions/issues/suggestions for the newly released LagMeter, please post them here.
I'll do my best to answer them.

One issue I've seen is that sometimes if I am running too many background applications, the ping times average don't match what I see in-game.
I think this is probably because the default (under advanced) is TCP/UPD all...

That is correct. Default LagMeter config is that it will measure all TCP and UDP ports... To get a more precise measurement, program the precise UDP and/or TCP ports to be measured in the "Advanced" tab. Alternatively you can select whichever game you are currently playing (provided it has been setup in the .csv file in your LagMeter directory, otherwise, you can add the game there).

Another performance enhancing trick is to make the FRAPs tool NOT display your FPS on the screen...
This might reduce the already minimal system performance impact that running LagMeter may have on your system.
To do this, simply download the latest fraps here: http://www.fraps.com
Then restart LagMeter.
Then click on the FRAPS99 button running in your system tray, and select the FPS tab, then select the "Disabled" button on the Overlay Corner setting.
Enjoy,
Tytus

Lagmeter does not work at all. Even after updating the .net files (which I already had, but updated again just in case..)
I keep getting an NNPTOOLS.DLL not found error..

TekHouse,
Sorry you are having troubles!
When you went through the install procedure, did you install winpcap?
If not you can try reinstalling that here:
http://www.winpcap.org
If that doesn't help, make sure all your system performance counters are enabled... if you don't know how to 'disable' them, then don't worry about this step.
Finally, try downloading the latest FRAPS here:
http://www.fraps.com
If none of that helps, we'll get our dev team to see if we can reproduce the bug, and get it fixed in the next Beta of LagMeter....
As Beta's go, many folks are having no problems... so sorry you are one of the unlucky few who are experiencing trouble!
Thanks for reporting it though, as it will make the next build better, and head toward a full release.
Tyt.

OK,
I have the latest FRAPS.
I have the winpcap installed.
So I must be one of those that simply cannot run lagmeter at the moment.
My system:
Abit AV8 Mobo
2 GB pc3200 RAM
AMD 64 3200+
MSI GeForce 6800 GT (AGP)
XFi soundcard
2 X SATA HDD
OS: XP PRO SP2

That is a sweet system spec there!
Sorry it's not working for you at the moment.
I'll get my engineers to see if they can reproduce the issue.
Thanks,
Tytus

| I've tried to try and see what is causing the failure of the program. I continued to 'debug' the error. And it says my JIT debugger is not connecting. Does this help? Is there a service or something that is not running on my PC?

There is a known issue that during some installs WinPCap doesn't get installed correctly.
(sometimes it is the user who cancels the install).
If you havn't yet tried to resinstall winPcap (http://www.winpcap.org) I recomend that.
