I think you will really like the Killer NIC.

Two pieces of advice:

1.) Download the latest driver FIRST, before installing... and don't install the ones on the CD. (then put the card in, and install using the latest drivers only).

Zombine666's story sounds similar to my own. For someone who also finds it hard to describe a problem, i can also remember a time when very blatant and frequent lag never seemed exist. Now its funny when you start to think your the only one experiencing it and everybody else has some kind of unfair advantage. Well I recently discovered that the phone line that extends outside my house is in a poor state, causing an erratic signal to noise ratio and crap line attenuation, sometimes crc errors can occur frequently in packets. So one should assume the effects on the adsl connection would be noticeable ingame when these crc errors are occuring in the hundreds or thousands. Well you wouldn't say its visibly noticeable ingame. Maybe the state of the line doesn't affect gaming all that much.

In any case, i've just placed an order on a Killer-nic. It will allow to me to see whether there's more to the problem or not. Despite other factors and negative criticism I'm sure the Killer will be an improvement for my entry level pc.

And run a test.

You'll end up with something like this, which is handy for posting in forums:

I'm paying for three down and 512 up, for instance. So this result isn't bad at all.

well i remeber there were those time i didnt have lags at all but now for some reasons(probabley since the server grew i mean the amout of people)i strated to experience lags this game is a RPG with very low requirments to FPS isnt the problem so ill tell you my internet info:

1.5M Download

i dont remember the upload but it is low.

and i use ADSL

i heared ppl sayed that if ill have a faster upload ill experience less lags ohh and ive checked where the lags come and i figured out that they are from the client (for me) so it is probabley something with my internet since ive reinstalled my computer completly and followed all the staps in this site and i even chanched the 20% usage of QoS the windows takes away.

so please help me figure out my problem should i change internet for a faster one?or what should i do?...
