OK. My parents got Virgin media 2mbps interbet (**** i know) Heres how its set p in my house.
Virgin Media Modem

Family PC:
AMD Athlon 2800+ 2ghz
1gb ddr 400mhz ram
geforce 6200 agp
seagate 80gb

Vista ultimate 32
crapy Motherboard NIC

My PC:
Pentium D 820 OC 4.5ghz
2gb ddr2 Battlestix @ 950mhz

Raptor 150gb hdd

I cant connect the internet through my pc because my family's pc refuses to connect for sum reason. Is there any way that i can speed up my connection in games? And how can i specifically block ports? I want to stop Live messenger from connecting (because my sister logs in and just stays logged in like a greedy cow). If not are there any routers that are dead easy to set up with virgin, and i can asign priority or something. Im trying my ass of to convince my parents to upgrade to 20mb virgin and give me £200 to give there pc a good old pimp up. They refuse to switch isp cause they can be bothered with paying two people for difrent services (we also got the phone and telly.). So Is there any way i can easly speed up my internet, and prioritise my pc ont he network? all the others use that pc for is the internet.

| I suppose you could try a Dlink DGL 4100 gaming router, seems pretty easy to setup, and you can prioritize gaming packets.
