My vote is for Diablo 2 LOD by Blizzard. Either Blizzard has slow servers or they make bad platforms. Maybe if they put servers in the east coast it would help. I'm going to stop playing D2. I don't trust Blizzard anymore so I don't want to play their World of Warcraft. I have considered playing Ultima but it was pretty complicated last time I tried it and I saw that they will be bringing out a new client next year.
What is a good D&D style game with very little server lag and servers that are in the east coast maybe with a server close to DC (the US capital)???????
An Idea of what my COMAST connection specs are like:
Down: 6.0 mb/s
Up: 0.4 mb/s
Latency to CA: 128 ms
Latency to DC: 78 ms

I played COH (City of Heroes) for about a year, and I've also played WOW (World of Warcraft) for a bit over a year. CoH by far had the worst lag (and connection issues, and patch issues, etc).
Don't get me wrong, there's definitely room for improvement with WoW, but suffice it to say that I've never had to actually stop playing WoW because lag/DCs made gameplay impossible (I definitely can't say the same about CoH, unfortunately).
My connection specs are roughly the same as the above poster (I'm a Comcast user as well).

WoW has the most severs in the world (I think)... so WOW is your best chance for an east coast server.
Plus they hide Lag/Latency very very well... e.g. when you click on somebody to do something, there is a natural "recharge" phase, so you can't do too many things too fast (smart design to hide lag).
Anyways, I'd give WOW a shot for sure.
