I don't know cause I never tried the cable. May be I did try before. Just I don't know. I know now I am using streamyx DSL. So I just simply vote the DSL

Generally speaking it depends on a lot of things.
What kind of DSL service...
How 'shared' is the cable service..
but i'd say on average, DSL will have a slight edge, because there are so many cable users out there often sharing bandwidth.

Yes, Fiber to the home has been a rumor for a long time. I sure as heck want to get it.
At that price though, they are no doubt bandwidth limiting the customers... It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

we have 10Mbps/1Mbps no limits here on cable
avg is 9Mbps down and 900Kbps up after TCP over head
FiOS is NOT limited per say as long as your not maxing your speeds 24/7 thay dont care
