please add the game navyfield to the list on the lagmeter.  it is a freedownload with a trial of free gameplay which can last forever.  i want to know how bad the lag on this game is since some people are getting bad amounts of lag.

Thanks for the tip. We'll surely add it on the next Rev of Lagmeter.

For now, you can add it yourself!!!

Just use an editor of your choice and open up the .csv file in your Lagmeter install directory...

the file is called GamesList.csv

there are further instructions in the Help files of Lagmeter.

Enjoy,
Tytus

I'm suprised that Enemy Territory isn't on there...it seems almost all the games I play online aren't on there!

But; as you say it's possible to add your own via an Editor......sorry for sounding ignorant; but how could I go about doing that? I'm hopeless with programming, and would appreciate seeing where my frequent spikes online are coming from.

There is a file in your
c:\program files\Bigfoot Networks\LagMeter

called: GamesList.csv

Look online for the game's Port list, and add an entry in that file on a new line, using commas as follows

GameName,Publisher,PROTOCOL,"PORT_RANGE"

where PROTOCOL is TCP or UDP and PORT_RANGE is a comma list of the ports (if a big range is in there you can use 2 port numbers with at dash in between - )

Alternatively, you could just kill every other program running on your PC.. and run using UDP/TCP ALL (on the advanced tab)... and then you'd be capturing the game only (make sure to disable Windows update if you try this).
