ince ELN is just getting started, I thought it would be a good time to tell you what I am playing. I’d love to discuss the details of my gaming habits in the ELN Forums, maybe even hook up in-game.

So, I play counterstrike all the time, really. Both CS 1.6 and Source. I prefer 1.6 when I can find a game without cheaters (probably because I’ve been playing original CS since beta). I often go by the name ‘Tytus’ in CS, and my clan [Tyt] is pretty tight. My role in CS is usually to buy the p90, and defend the snipers from raids... (p90’s are good for a rush of Ts comin’ at us).

I am also into D&D Online and Guild Wars right now. I actually really enjoy both for different reasons. D&D Online is really cool, because of it’s roots (D&D) and match-making systems. Guild Wars is cool because of it’s story, immensity, and business model. Both games are really the same though (did you notice?). They both ‘instance you’ on ‘quests’... and they even play similar (even the same little quick-slot scheme and radar). Ironically, they both Lag at the same place (See Monkey Rat’s DDO review in ELN’s review section for info on that).

Other games I play less regularly, but probably more than most people play anything: Call of Duty 1&2, Halo PC and Halo XBOX, Half-Life, Doom 3, tons of RTS games (Warlords Battlecry 3, AOE 3, Warcraft 3, etc.)

It’s also worth mentioning some recent research I’ve been doing for Bigfoot Networks (where I am known as the “Mad Scientist”...) Here are a few links to some stuff I’ve been reading... I’ll not comment now on what we’re doing with this research, but needless to say, I’m always reading!
